"Security service providers have been operating in the Azerbaijani market for several years," Head of the Cyber Security Center of the State Security Service (CSCSSS) Davud Rustamov said at the conference on "Cybercrime and Cybersecurity Barometer in Azerbaijan", APA-Economics reports.
"Special Service bodies are struggling with measures to combat cyber threats. As State Security Service we monitor this activity and share the information we receive with the critical information infrastructures. Cyber threats were registered in March, as a result of which 300-400 thousand YouTube channels were seized. They shared free software on their channels and eventually people got infected by downloading that software," noted Davud Rustamov.
