Azerbaijan's Prime Minister and the head of the Presidential Administration paid a visit to East Zangezur

In accordance with the instructions of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, a delegation of the heads of relevant state institutions visited East Zangezur on November 1 under the leadership of Prime Minister Ali Asadov and Samir Nuriyev, the head of the Coordination Staff established for the centralized resolution of issues in territories liberated from the occupation of the Republic of Azerbaijan, APA reports.

The delegation first got acquainted with the newly commissioned Zangilan International Airport. A representative of "Azerbaijan Airlines" CJSC informed about the works done at the airport.

Later, the delegation left for Gubadli, where the head of the State Urban Planning and Architecture Committee, Anar Guliyev, delivered a report on the city's General Plan.

The delegation also inspected the 110 kV "Gubadli" substation. Balababa Rzayev, head of "Azerenerji" OJSC, informed about the work done at the substation.

The group then inspected the Khudafarin-Gubadli-Lachin highway. Saleh Mammadov, Chairman of the Management Board of Azerbaijan's State Agency of Motorways, provided an update on the road's construction progress and upcoming tasks.

In the Lachin district village of Zabukh, the Chairman of the State Committee for Refugees and IDPs, Rovshan Rzayev, and the Chairman of the ANAMA Management Board, Vugar Suleymanov, informed about the imminent return of displaced people to Lachin, the villages of Zabux and Sus, and the work being done to clear the area of mines and unexploded ammunition.

The delegation later got acquainted with the 110 kV "Lachin city" junction substation. A delegation led by Prime Minister Ali Asadov and PA and Coordination Staff chief Samir Nuriyev arrived in Lachin from here. Anar Guliyev, Chairman of the State Urban Planning and Architecture Committee, and Bunyad Gasimov, General Director of "Baku Abadlig Service" LLC, informed about the work done in Lachin city, and the city hospital building was also inspected.

The delegation then visited Gorchu Airport in the Lachin district. A representative of "Azerbaijan Airlines" CJSC made a report on works carried out in the construction of the airport.

Anar Guliyev, Chairman of the State Urban Planning and Architecture Committee, reported on the master plan of Kalbajar city, and Saleh Mammadov, Chairman of the Board of the State Agency of Azerbaijan Motorways, reported on the works done on the Kalbajar-Lachin highway.

The heads of the relevant institutions were given the necessary instructions and tasks in order to carry out reconstruction and restoration works, as well as infrastructure projects, in line with President Ilham Aliyev's instructions at all of the places inspected during the visit.
