Azerbaijan's position in the international cybersecurity rankings improved, Chief of the country’s State Security Service Colonel-General Ali Naghiyev told a press conference held on the Critical Infrastructure Defense Challenge 2023, APA-Economics reports.

"Thus, in the ranking table of the National Cyber Security Index, which evaluates and ranks the activities of 176 countries in the field of cyber security according to 46 indicators, Azerbaijan rose 36 places to advance from 86th place to 50th place. This result is the highest position achieved by our country in the mentioned rating table. Currently, Georgia is on the 44th place and Armenia is on the 96th place in that rating table," the chief of the state service notes.
