Azerbaijani parliament approves renaming of three villages in Guba

The names of three villages in the Guba district will be changed, APA reports.

This was reflected in the draft law “On changing the names of some territorial units of the Guba district,” which was discussed at today’s session of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

According to the draft, Vladimirovka village within the Vladimirovka village administrative territorial district will be renamed Elbir village, and the Vladimirovka village administrative territorial district will be considered the Elbir village administrative territorial district.

Alekseyevka village within the Alekseyevka village administrative territorial district will be renamed Chinarli village, Timiryazev village will be renamed Bahrali village, and the Alekseyevka village administrative territorial district will be considered the Chinarli village administrative territorial district.

The draft law was put to a vote and adopted in one reading.
