Azerbaijan attends UN session on cyber security

The Concluding session of the Ad Hoc Committee to Elaborate a Comprehensive International Convention on Countering the Use of Information and Communications Technologies for Criminal Purposes was held in New York City. The representatives of the State Service of Special Communication and Information Security (SSSCIS) of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the head of the department Elgin Abdullayev, and Vusala Mammadova attended the session, APA-Economics reports citing SSSCIS.

The discussion of the Convention was carried out on the non-agreed articles, re-issued proposals were reviewed and certain changes were made in the content of the Convention.

During the meeting, the head of the department at SSSCIS Elgin Abdullayev made proposals on relevant articles.

The proposals of the State Service of Special Communication and Information Security (SSSCIS) of the Republic of Azerbaijan were considered by the Ad Hoc Committee of the United Nations.
