AZAL: Passengers from Shymkent will gain access to an extensive route network via Baku

The launch of the new route will provide passengers from Shymkent with access, via Baku, to AZAL's extensive route network covering Europe and other international destinations, Khayal Gadirzade, Sales Representative for Central Asia at Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL), said during a meeting with tour operators and media representatives in Shymkent, APA-Economics' correspondent assigned to Shymkent reports.

According to him, the new Baku–Shymkent flight not only creates a direct connection between the two cities but also offers broader travel opportunities for passengers.

Khayal Gadirzade also noted that AZAL currently operates flights to more than 70 destinations, allowing passengers to benefit from convenient transit opportunities via Baku to Europe, the Middle East and other regions.

"I would like to note that Heydar Aliyev International Airport enjoys a high reputation in international aviation and is considered one of the region's main transport hubs. The flight schedule on the Baku–Shymkent route enables passengers to make convenient connections with AZAL flights to European cities. In this regard, the new route creates additional advantages for passengers traveling to destinations such as Berlin, Milan, Paris and Prague," Khayal Gadirzade emphasized.
