"We are preparing for the transition to a new stage. Information about this stage was reflected in the national development priorities signed by the president two years ago," Head of the Department of Economic Issues and Innovative Development Policy of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Azerbaijan Shahmar Movsumov said during his speech at the international conference "Formation of Greater Eurasian geopolitics: from past to present and future", APA-Economics reports.
"Firstly, we should develop a competitive economy, the second is to build a society operating on the basis of social justice, the third is to develop human capital in accordance with the requirements of the 21st century, and the fourth includes the Great Return, the return to the territories liberated from occupation. National priorities are divided into strategic directions. One of them has already been adopted, and the one related to socioeconomic development will be implemented in 2026. I am sure that each of them will be implemented gradually," added Shahmar Movsumov.
