Allowing exploitation of Dovlatyarli, Ashaghi Guzlak, Guruchay deposits in Fuzuli is planned

"According to the results of the assessment of mineral and raw material resources in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan, it was recorded that the the Guruchay sand and gravel deposit, the Dovlatyarli and Dilagar limestone deposits located in the territory of Fuzuli district were exploited, underground fresh water wells in the Fuzuli underground water field, which enters the underground water basin of the Jabrayil foothills, were completely destroyed, and all the kahriz systems that existed in the region were destroyed," was said at the meeting of the Working Group operating under the Interdepartmental Center of the Coordination Headquarters held in the administrative building of Fuzuli Airport.

It was brought to attention that complex geological researches were carried out in order to assess the geoecological and radioactivity conditions of the territory of Fuzuli district, and the radioactivity of Fuzuli city and surrounding areas was assessed.

In order to meet the demand for construction materials and carry out construction works in the liberated territories, it is planned to allow the exploitation of the Dovlatyarli limestone deposit, Ashaghi Guzlak, Guruchay sand and gravel deposits located in the territory of Fuzuli district
