ADB CAREC consultation mission will travel to Azerbaijan

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev - APA-Economics. James Peter Rizer, the ADB Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation (CAREC) specialist will lead a consultation mission to Azerbaijan this month.
The ADB office in Baku said the main purpose of the visit is to conduct training on the transport sector and discuss the issues of capacity development in this area.
“The mission will be in Azerbaijan from April 20 to 25,†said the ADB Office. CAREC is an ADB-supported initiative to encourage economic cooperation in Central Asia. Initiated in 1997, the program to date has focused on regional initiatives in transport, trade facilitation, trade policy, and energy critical to improving the economic performance of the region and the livelihoods of all people—especially of the poor.
