The ICT Information Centre says that according to the report, worse situation on the software piracy level is in Georgia where 95% of software is unlicensed. Neighboring Armenia (90%) ranks 5th place on software piracy level.
Positive changes occurred in Azerbaijan compared with last year’s report. The piracy level fell from 90% to 88%, and in the list of software piracy countries Azerbaijan holds 8th place while in the 2009 report it ranked 6th.

The least level of piracy was registered in the United States (20%), Japan (21%), Luxembourg (22%), New Zealand (22%) and the highest one in Central and Eastern Europe (64%). In North America piracy rate is lowest - 21%.
