Baku. Aynur Valiyeva – APA-Economics. The Azerbaijan Ministry Communication and Information Technology has held a board session about the results of first quarter of 2010.
The ministry saw 23.1% growth compared with a year ago, Ali Abbasov, minister of Communication and IT informed.
According to chief of department of the finance, accounting and economic analysis of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies Rashad Nabiyev, the revenue made by AZN 241.8 mln from ICT and post sectors. The ICT sector rose by 23.4%, including of telecommunication sector 22.2% increased and post sector up 4.7% compared with a year ago.
The volume of Gross national product made by AZN 9551.6 mln, up 5.4% from year ago.
The average monthly salary of communicators was AZN 264.9.
