Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev - APA-ECONOMICS. Murphy Shipping & Commercial Services, Ltd., a fully licensed international freight forwarder, predicts to see a 10%-11% drop in this year’s profit due to the global financial crisis, said Adeola Agbabiaka, Director of the Company.

She added that they company may see a rise in profit only after the crisis is over.

According to her, the company’s total turnover was 15.493 million pounds and net profit 2.179 pounds in 2008.

A. Agbabiaka added that in 2008 the turnover Murphy Shipping & Commersial Services amounted to 15.493 million pounds, net income - 2,179 million pounds.

Murphy Shipping & Commercial Services, Ltd. began with a small operation in West Africa in 1975.

With offices in Nigeria and Azerbaijan, as well as the United States and United Kingdom, the company has expert knowledge of the Nigerian and Caspian markets, including Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan.
It opened its presence in Baku in 1993.
