Istanbul. Mayis Alizadeh â€“ APA. â€œWe are shareholder of GSM operators in Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Georgia and Moldova. We are operating in those countries via Fintur Company. We have 42 % of Azercell shares and we are very satisfied with the companyâ€™s management there. Turkcell is open for concurrency in the world. We implement all novelties we bring to Turkey in Azerbaijan tooâ€, Sureyya Ciliv, Chief Executive of Turkcell, the Turkish telecommunication giant, told APA Turkish bureau. Turkcell carries out different social projects in the regions of Turkey and Ciliv said they were looking forward to launch similar projects in Azerbaijan. â€œWe think to pay much attention to the social sphere in Azerbaijan. Our organization gives great importance to the education. Turkcell shares cost 15 billion dollars in the world market. We deem it duty to fund education and other social activities. There are 321 employees educated abroad and working now in our service office in Kartal district of Istanbul. It is impossible to enhance the companyâ€™s activity without investing the education and social activitiesâ€.

CEO Ciliv held a press conference at the Turkcell office at Istiglal Avenue of Istanbul for some foreign journalists accredited in Turkey. Representatives of Reuters, Bloomberg, Iranâ€™s IRIB and other foreign media organizations attended the press conference. Then Turkcellâ€™s latest achievements were demonstrated to the journalists.
