Baku. Aynur Veliyeva - APA-ECONOMICS. F.E.Tek has introduced online update of Azerbaijani map for Garmin GPS device users.

The company said the maps will be updated through its website. GPS units today now have 12 parallel channels. Channels help to acquire GPS satellite signals faster and more accurately
F.E.Tek offers GPS-navigation services for civilian use in Azerbaijan and charges no monthly fee because no mobile operator’s services are used.

GPS units have 12 parallel channels which help to acquire GPS satellite signals faster and more accurately.

All receivers are 12-channel, which opens the possibility for receiving signals simultaneously from 12 satellites GPS. The map of Azerbaijan and Baku is updated monthly and the new highways, bridges, buildings, objects, and changing street names are reflected on the map.

F.E.Tek offers automotive, sports, travel, mobile (for smartphones), and marine GPS-receivers. The price of devices depends on its functionality (from 190 manats and more). There are GPS devices with maps of all countries of Europe, equipped with Bluetooth, mp3 player, etc.

Partnered with Asus, Garmin plans to launch next generation mobile phones with navigation options.
