Baku. Rashad Suleymanov - APA-Economics. Azerbaijan Railways Company will submit the railway system development programme to the Presidential Administration draft for approval in September.
Currently, the draft is under development and review.
The programme which cover the period until 2015 reflected issues such as modernization of the fleet, the establishment of repair facilities, reconstruction of the Baku-Boyuk Kasik-Georgian border railroad, the purchase of new locomotives, etc.
The the programme costs $1 billion.
