Azercell Telecom obtains Progress award

Baku. Aynur Valiyeva â€“ APA-Economics. Achievements gained by Azercell Telecom LLC overpassed the boundaries of Azerbaijan since long time. Already the subcribers of the Company can benefit Azercellâ€™s services in many countries. After Azerbaijan, the biggest number of subscribers of Azercell is in Russia. One million of Azercell subscribers in this country is able to benefit from the high quality communication services provided by this mobile operator.
Russian Government appreciated the achivements of Azercell Telecom. Thus, Azercell Telecom LLC was awarded the prestigious Progress prize for the reliable communication services provided between Azerbaijan and Russia. During the presentation ceremony, this prize has been presented personally by Mr. Vladimir Dorokhin, Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Azerbaijan. Ms. Ulviyya Hasanzade, the Head of Corporate Communications and Social Responsibility of the Company thanked the Ambassador for the award by saying: â€œRunning its activities for last 13 years, Azercell Telecom is a leading company in this field. Currently, it is not by chance that the number of Azercell subscribers exceeds 3.5 million. This award proves once again that Azercell offers high quality and reliable services to its subscribers.â€ Ulviyya Hasanzadeh reminded of 1 million subscribers that Azercell has in Russia.
The first presentation of Progress Prize was organized by the Azerbaijan-Russia Business Co-operation Chamber in 2008 with the support of the Russian Embassy in Azerbaijan and the Chamber of Commerce. The aim of this Prize is to identify and appreciate individuals and entities who participate in fostering the commercial ties between Azerbaijan and Russia.
Progress Prize is presented on the second time - (delete the sentence). At the presentation ceremony on July 3 over 10 companies which have been the most active in the commercial and economic ties between Azerbaijan and Russia got the awards.
