Azerbaijan State Rail Way passes to intensive working regime

Baku. Rashad Suleymanov â€“ APA-Economics. Hot weather conditions in the country forced the Azerbaijan State Rail Way (ASRW) to pass to the intensive working regime, ASRW spokesman Nadir Azmammadov told APA-Economics.

Azmammadov said there were several rail way accidents in recent years because of hot weather and therefore they are working in the intensive regime this year to take preventive measures against the weather-caused accidents. The rail ways are controlled for several times a day.

ASRW was established in 1880. The main waysâ€™ open length is 2 950,6 km and exploitation length is 2 122 km.
