Azerbaijan approves regulations of State Committee on Property

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev - APA-Economics. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree on the activities of the State Committee on Property, said the President’s Press Service.

Under the decree, the regulations of the Committee, its structure, as well as regulations of the subordinate offices and Real Estate State Register Service were approved.

According to the decree, the number of staff members of the State Committee and its subordinate bodies was set at 726.

The Cabinet of Ministers was tasked to solve financial provision of the State Committee subordinate departments for the current year within 10 days, to take measures to ensure the activities of the subordinate departments within a month, to prepare and submit proposals to the Head of State on the harmonization of the existing legislation with this decree and on the improvement of legislation on registration of real estate and management of state property within two months, to ensure the harmonization of laws and regulations of the Cabinet and the executive authorities with the decree and to resolve issues arising from the decree and inform the Head of State within a month.

The Ministry is tasked to register the Real Estate Cadastre and Technical Inventory, and the Center for Information Technology and Information Management which are established under the Committee.
