Azerbaijan hosts international conference on development of multi-use complexes and Islamic financing

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev – APA-Economics. On June 24, 2009, Islamic Corporation for the Development of the Private Sector (ICD) jointly with Baker & McKenzie are hosting, for the first time in Azerbaijan, a half day conference on the development of multi-use complexes and Islamic financing in Azerbaijan.

Senior representatives of the government, the banking and finance sector and prominent real estate developers and construction companies joined the conference.

Dan Matthews, Head of Baker & McKenzie Office in Baku, briefed the participants about the objective of the conference.

Real Estate experts from the Baku and Moscow offices of Baker & McKenzie, the Moscow and Baku offices of DTZ, and ICD experts on Islamic financing from Jeddah presented on key matters of multi-use development and financing of projects in Azerbaijan.
