Azerbaijan and Korea sign a memorandum of cooperation on postal services

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev - APA-Economics. Azerbaijan and Korea has signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation on postal services, said Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies.

Before signing the document, Azerbaijan’s Deputy Minister of Communications and Information Technologies Elmir Velizadeh told a meeting with the Korean delegation that the memorandum would help strengthen and develop relations in the postal sphere between the two countries.

Head of the Korean delegation Kim Ki Deok noted that they are very optimistic about the development of relations with Azerbaijan.

Recalling that Korea has been actively involved in many projects in Azerbaijan, the guest expressed confidence in successful cooperation.

Then, the parties signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in the postal sector.

The parties expressed hope that the memorandum is to establish the ground for cooperation between the parties.

According to the document, Azerbaijan and Korea will cooperate in various areas of the postal sector, in particular exchange of personnel, expertise, information, technology, etc.

Korean delegation announced at the end of the meeting that Korean Post donates 100 workstations to Azeri Post.
