37 companies from 7 countries registered for TransCaspian Show

Baku. Rashad Suleymanov - APA-Economics. Iteca Caspian will be holding the 8th edition of TransCaspian on 2-5 June in Baku, Azerbaijan.

Every year, the event brings together the largest freight forwarders, rail and port operators, insurance specialists, loading/unloading equipment manufacturers, customs management and terminal managers.
The exhibition is officially supported by the Ministry of Transport of the Azerbaijan Republic, TRACECA and the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation.

Iteca Caspian Manager Tofig Kerimov told a press conference that 37 companies from 7 countries will participate in TransCaspian this year.
The exhibition covers the following sectors: motorway transport, oil transportation/pipelines, rail transportation, shipbuilding, freight forwarding, sea transport, logistics, rail equipment, customs services, cargo insurance, road construction machinery, loading/unloading equipment, etc.
This year, TransCaspian will take place at the same time as the international Caspian Oil & Gas exhibition, which will bring a greater number of visitors to the exhibition, said Iteca Caspian deputy director Behruz Hidayetzade.

Interest in Azerbaijanâ€™s transport sector is growing amongst international companies as global transportation projects are implemented, for example, the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars project. Azerbaijan spends a large amount of money on transport infrastructure projects.
Technical knowledge, experience, materials and equipment will be needed in order to implement these projects and contribute to the development of transport in Baku. Products and technology that can be used during the implementation of these projects will be on display at TransCaspian 2009, where exhibitors will be able to demonstrate their products to a large audience, including representatives of the regionâ€™s largest transport companies. Visitors will be able to discover new technologies and solutions, which will make their businesses more efficient and provide safe transportation of people and goods.
TransCaspian is the ideal place to exchange experiences and demonstrate the latest freight forwarding technologies to a large number of specialists. By participating in the exhibition, exhibitors will discover new business opportunities, meet potential new partners and increase exposure of their companies.
