Baku. Nijat Mustafayev – APA-Economics. The world economic crisis has not affected the transport projects implemented in Azerbaijan, Transport Minister of Azerbaijan Ziya Mammadov said, APA-Economics reports.
The Minister said there was no problem with the financing of the projects and the projects were being implemented with the loans given by the international organizations in 2007-2008 and with the financial support of Azerbaijani government.
“We have simply suspended the launch of new large projects. But it does not mean that these projects have been cancelled. The work will begin as far as possible. Generally, the projects are being implemented normally,†he said.
