Baku. Rashad Suleymanov - APA-Economics. Azerbaijan’s Cabinet of Ministers has approved Rules of inspection of roadworthiness of vehicles and medical examination of drivers before trip.
The rules apply to private entrepreneurs and legal persons with a license on the road or international long distance (inter-city), passenger transportation, passenger transportation by taxi passenger, freight services on international lines, and within the country.
Under the rules, carriers providing passenger and freight services must have technical check-up of vehicles before their trip.
Pre-trip check-up of vehicles is carried out by the Ministry of Transport.
The check-up will include brake system, steering system, headlights, windshield wipers, tires, wheels, motor, etc. The carrier and the driver will receive a sealed test certificate.
