Baku. Aynur Veliyeva - APA-Economics. Azerbaijan’s leading mobile operator Azercell telecom LLC is planning to reduce mobile charges in addition to in-country call prices, said Mr.Ali Agan CEO of Azercell Telecom LLC, commenting on a decision approved by European Parliament to reduce the price of text messages and wholesale data roaming charges.

According to him, the decision is praiseworthy but not applicable to Azerbaijan.

He said charges are not so high in Azerbaijan as it is in Europe.

“Although this decision has nothing to do with us, we will reduce mobile and roaming charges,” he added.

At the end of last year, Azercell Telecom LLC cooperated with 163 mobile communication operators from 68 countries.
