Bakcell extends coverage area

Baku. Aynur Veliyeva - APA-Economics. Azerbaijanâ€™s first mobile operator Bakcell has extended its coverage network all over the country.
55 new base stations were installed in March, said the company.
Of this, 28 were deployed in Baku and Absheron and 27 in other regions of the country.
New base stations were installed in the regions of Barda, Gabala, Gakh, Goychay, Hajigabul, Ismailli, Khanlar, Oguz, Ordubad, Shakhbuz, Sheki, Shemakha, Shamkir, Sharur and Terter.
Note that in this February Bakcell signed an agreement with the Nokia Siemens Networks Company, within which Nokia Siemens Networks will provide an expansion and modernization of GSM network in order to increase the quality of services and extend the network coverage.
