Baku. Rashad Suleymanov - APA-Economics. Russia will scrap a measure which limits the annual number of Azerbaijani-flagged vessels entry through Russian inland waters, said Gudret Gurbanov, Head of Azerbaijan’s State Maritime Administration.
According to him, the issue of abolishing restriction on the passage of the Azerbaijani vessels through Volga-Don Shipping Canal that provides the most direct navigable connection between the Caspian Sea and the Sea of Azov and thus the world’s oceans was disused during Russian Minister of Transport Igor Levitin’s visit to Baku in early April.
He added that Russia extended 25 entry passes to Azerbaijan for this navigation season from April to November.
