Baku. Nijat Mustafayev - APA-Economics. The world financial crisis has partly affected auto tire market in Azerbaijan, said Faig Asgerov, manager of a key tire seller in Azerbaijan.
According to him, prices of tires imported from Europe have not changed but prices of tires from Russia have declined slightly.
“European tire manufacturers have not changed prices. However, prices of Russian-made tires are 30% lower now because prices dropped in Russia,†he added.
However, because Russian producers have lowered prices, in Azerbaijan the price of tires produced in Russia decreased by approximately 30% ».
He added that prices will further fall if the world economy does not recover soon.
