The crisis management center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations received information that Maharramova Janna Hanifayevna (1949) and Maharramov Aleksandr Gennadiyevich (1982) remained helpless behind closed door in their apartment in Narimanov district of Baku, the ministry said in a statement.
Rescuers immediately arrived at the site. They opened the door and found the two persons dead. The operation ended at 03:26 a.m.
Investigation revealed that they were killed.
The two bodies have been identified as mother and her son, the Narimanov district police office told APA.
The examination of bodies revealed wounds on their heads, usually caused by a blow from a blunt tool.
The purpose and perpetrators of the murder are still unknown.
A criminal case has been launched on the fact, investigation is underway.
