Moscow. Farid Akbarov – APA. A gunfight erupted early Tuesday morning in a fruit and vegetable market in Saint Petersburg, Russia, where a sizeable number of Azerbaijanis work, APA’s Moscow correspondent reported.
“The incident took place as one of the salesman opened fire at another’s leg. No one is allowed to come out of the fruit and vegetable base. OMON and investigators are at the site,” an eyewitness said.
The Petersburg main police office said in a statement that the incident took place around 7:00AM local time, after a disagreement over goods. The wounded man is in hospital right now.
Note that another armed incident had taken place in June of this year between two Azerbaijanis, one of whom died of the wounds.
