Baku. Hafiz Heydarov – APA. The captain of the Emergency Situations Ministry’s fire-fighter ship "Vikhr-9", inner service Lieutenant-Colonel Vyacheslav Sergeyevich Kryuchkov, who died on Dec.8 of a heart failure, has today been buried in Baku.
Minister of Emergency Situations Kemaleddin Heydarov and other officials of the ministry attended the funeral.
On Dec.7, Kryuchov, the captain of the firefighter ship “Vikhr-9”, which was the first to arrive at the accident site, had been hospitalized as his condition suddenly deteriorated after bravely participating in fire-fighting at the offshore platform in the most extreme conditions of recent days. Despite the doctor’s efforts, Kryuchov died on Dec.8 of a heart failure in the hospital.
