Currently, the staff of the police station is being formed. Police colonel Azer Jahangirov is expected to become an acting chief of the police station.
Earlier, Jahangirov served as an operating officer at the Interior Ministry’s Main Criminal Investigation Department. At a time when Jahangirov was the chief of Sabunchu district police office, he was directly involved in operations to neutralize several organized criminal groups in Nardaran and other townships of Baku.
The police station is expected to start functioning in full force soon.
Nardaran township is still under strict control of law-enforcement forces.
