The consultation was attended by deputy ministers of emergency situations and concerned department heads, deputy chief of the State Border Service, chiefs of the Coastal Guard and Aviation services, officials and experts of the State Maritime Administration, APA reported.
Participants discussed issues of boosting efforts to find the oil workers lost after the accident.
At the end of the consultation, participants concluded that one plane and four helicopters of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, six helicopters and seven ships of the State Border Service as well as additional forces from the MES State Water Rescue Service and Special Risk Rescue Service should be deployed to boost the effectiveness of the search operation. They also decided to ask ships floating in the Caspian to strengthen search observations.
