Nijat Huseynov, an employee of the State Tourism Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan, was detained as a suspect by the State Security Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan on March 4, brought before the court, and a detention measure was chosen for him by the Sabail District Court of Baku, APA reports.
He is accused of abusing his official powers during his service.
As previously mentioned, Fuad Naghiyev, the Chairman of the State Tourism Agency, was severely reprimanded for his shortcomings in his work by an Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Several officials of the Agency, including the Head of the State Tourism Agency Apparatus Kenan Gasımov and the Head of the Tourism Policy and Strategy Department, Mahammad Muradov, have been removed from their positions.
