Power supply to be temporarily suspended in parts of Azerbaijan’s Baku, Goychay and Yevlakh

Electricity supply will be temporarily suspended in parts of Baku, Goychay and Yevlakh today due to scheduled repair works, APA-Economics reports.

Azerishiq said repair works will be carried out on September 7 at a transformer substation in the capital, as well as on 10 kV overhead power lines in Goychay and Yevlakh, to improve electricity supply quality and meet growing demand.

In Baku’s Yasamal district, power supply will be restricted from 10:00 to 13:00 in parts of Abbas Mirza Sharifzade, Abdulla Shaig, Azad Mirzayev, Mahammad Khiyabani, 7th Sallagkhana and Taghi Shahbazi streets.

Electricity supply will be temporarily suspended from 10:00 to 17:00 in some areas of Jayirli, Chayarkhi and Kurdamish villages in Goychay.

The scheduled outage will also affect Kovar village in Yevlakh from 10:00 to 13:00.

Azerishiq said consumers in the affected areas will receive more reliable and higher-quality electricity supply once the repair works are completed.
