Three quakes hit Azerbaijan’s Balakan region within a day - <span style="color: red;">UPDATED I

Baku. Konul Kamilgizi – APA. Another quake occurred in Balakan region of Azerbaijan.

The Republic Seismological Service Center of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) told APA that the quake was recorded on 27 km west from Zagatala on the Azerbaijani-Georgian border in Balakan region at 17:49 by local time. 3-magnitude quake occurred in the depths of 5 km. The quake was felt in Balakan. No causalities were reported.

Baku. Kamala Guliyeva – APA. The third quake occurred in Balakan region of Azerbaijan. The Republic Seismological Service Center of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) told APA that the quake was recorded on 28 km west from Zagatala on the Azerbaijani-Georgian border in Balakan, in the depths of 10 km at 17:42.

2-magnitude quake was felt in Balakan. No casualties were reported.

Two quakes hit Balakan region within a day. The Republic Seismological Service Center of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) told APA that the first quake was recorded on 31 km west from Zagatala on the Azerbaijani-Georgian border in Balakan at 15:49. 3-magnitude quake was felt in Balakan region. No causalities were reported.

The second quake was recorded on 29 km west from Zagatala on the Azerbaijani-Georgian border in Balakan at 17:13. 3-magnitude quake was felt in Balakan region.
