Istanbul. Mayis Alizadeh – APA. “All necessary measures have been taken to clarifying the reasons of Sevinj Babayeva’s death. Initial observations indicate that Sevinj Babayeva died from heart failure. Thereafter, the body was sent for medical examination. Depending on the results of the examination, the investigation will be either halted, or expanded”, Prosecutor-General of Boyukchekmece District of Istanbul Fuad Ari told APA’s Turkey correspondent.
According to him, Sevinj Babayeva had no document when she entered Esenyurt hospital: “IN accordance with Turkish laws, if the there is no ID card or passport, this can not cause the patient not to enter the hospital. The name of Maryam Solmaz was registered by the person who took Sevinj Babayeva to hospital, and she was taken to second hospital under this name. There is no any document about Maryam Solmaz”.
Answering the question about how S. Babayeva avoided Interpol’s wanted network, entered Turkey and lived here, Ari said that she was wanted by Interpol after entering Turkey and she never left Turkey after entering the country (S. Babayeva entered Turkey on September 25 - APA).
According to Prosecutor General, this caused avoidance of Sevinj Babayeva Interpol’s wanted network.
F. Ari says according top Azerbaijan’s General Prosecutor’s Office, Turkish citizen Selcuk Aglayan helped Sevinj Babayeva in Turkey. He answered the question “Was any step on Selcuk Aglayan taken in the investigation?”: “Selcuk Aglayan was put under police control for a day and questioned. But, due to investigation is underway, I do not want to inform about it widely. Everything is related with medical examination. If Babayeva died a natural death, the investigation will be halted. If the results of medical examination show that the death is abnormal then the investigation will be expanded. Azerbaijan’s steps will be important in this issue. Under the task of our Ministry of Justice, all necessary information is given to Azerbaijan’s law-enforcement agencies periodically”.
