TheÂ Ministry of TaxesÂ ofÂ Azerbaijan disseminates information about the criminal case against the Union of Cinematographers of Azerbaijan

According to the information, the corresponding structures of the Ministry of Taxes started another site inspection at the Union of Cinematographers of Azerbaijan, on 11.20.2012, covering the period from 01.06.2009 till 01.01.2012. The audit found that a large amount of taxes 12373,56 AZN, have not been paid to the state budget. Relevant declarations were also not submitted to the tax authorities. In this incident, the Department preliminary investigation of tax crimes Azerbaijani Taxes Ministry initiated a criminal case under Article 213.1 of the Criminal Code, on 12/27/2012.

During the preliminary investigation on the basis of material collected in the Investigation Department, it was determined that the Ministry of Culture and Tourism has been allocated 330,000 manat to conduct XI Baku International Film Festival "Sharq-Gharb". Of these funds to pay for expenses 267 000 Film 130 manats in cash was given to the accountable party. During the investigation, spending the allocated funds for other purposes during the investigation it was found that the paperwork and errors Union vehicles amount to 22 thousand manats was assigned.

In fact, confirmed by the collected materials Efendiyeva Lala Kamil gizi appointed leadership SKA authorized representative volunteer for the festival, was charged under Article 179.3.2 of the Criminal Code. The investigation of the criminal case continues.
