Sevinj Babayeva mentioned in video released by Elshad Abdullayev declared wanted - <span style="color: red;">EXCLUSIVE

Baku. Hafiz Heydarov - APA. Sevinj Babayeva, who was mentioned in the scandalous video released by former rector of Azerbaijan International University (ABU) Elshad Abdullayev, has been declared wanted. Law-enforcement bodies told APA exclusively that Babayeva has been declared wanted over swindling, not over the video. Criminal case has already been launched over the fact of swindling.

Sevinj Babayeva has reportedly fled the country. Therefore, she has been declared wanted.

Earlier, APA reported that several years ago Sevinj Babayeva faced charges over swindling. She misappropriated more than AZN 100 000 under the pretext of purchase and sale of land plots in 2009. Sabunchu district police office launched criminal case over the fact of swindling by Sevinj Babayeva. The criminal case was dropped after Sevinj Babayeva paid the main part of the damage.

Law-enforcement bodies said Sevinj Babayeva also committed other acts of swindling.
