Protest held at Bina Trade Center - <span style="color: red;">UPDATED 2  - <span style="color: red;">PHOTOSESSION

APA’s correspondent reports from the site that police used rubber truncheons and tear gas to disperse the protesters.

Some protesters were detained and injured. Some police officers were also reportedly injured.

Traffic was completely restored on Baku-Salyan highway.

Baku. Ramil Mammadli – APA. Extra police forces were deployed at Bina Trade Center, where traders are holding protest.

Police warned the protesters to disperse, but they started throwing stones and various objects at the police. The police fired tear gas to disperse the protesters.

Some protesters were reportedly detained.

Baku. Hafiz Heydarov, Ramil Mammadli – APA. The traders are holding a protest at Bina Trade Center. One of the traders told APA that they did not open the stores today in protest against the extra payments applied by the administration of the trade center.

The administration of the trade center is holding negotiations with the owners of the stores.

APA’s correspondent reports from the site that the police forces took under control the part of the highway passing through Shikh settlement in the direction of Bina Trade Center. Traffic movement was restricted in this direction. Police said this step aims to provide security.

The protesters are trying to march towards the city center.

Head of the Trade Center Kabira Mammadova has come to the site. She is negotiating with the protesters.
