APA’s Shaki-Zagatala bureau reports that the schools for 50 pupils were opened in Chudlubina and Alasgar villages of Zagatala, schools for 100 pupils in Lalali, for 40 in Lakit Kotuklu and for 100 in Lalapashan villages of Gakh region. The representatives of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and local authorities attended the opening ceremonies.
As a result of the quake hit north-west region of Azerbaijan in May, 2012, more than 4000 houses and 37 schools were seriously damaged. AZN 300 mln were allocated from the state budget to eliminate the quake’s consequences. More than 3000 houses and 27 schools have already been reconstructed and inaugurated in the quake-affected zone.
