Masked men burn Azerbaijani restaurants in St. Petersburg

Baku – APA. In the recent days, two restaurants have been burnt in Kalinin district of St. Petersburg. APA reports quoting Peter TV that today morning, the police has received information on burning of “Chinar” Oriental Cuisine restaurant in Lunacharsky avenue. 22-year-old guard of the restaurant received information that fire alarm in water pontoon of the restaurant tripped. When the guard got out of the street, he saw two 170-175 cm tall guys, wearing a black jacket and jeans. One of the hooligans broke the window of the restaurant with an item resembling a gun and threw a petrol bomb. When the guard tried to detain the robbers, one of them shot at him. Then the hooligans escaped from the site.

 

Two days ago, a similar incident occurred in this district. Unknown persons attempted to burn “Flamingo” café owned by a citizen of Azerbaijan. The masked men broke the window and threw a petro bomb. The investigation is underway on both facts.
