Baku. Hafiz Heydarov – APA. Former member of the Azerbaijani Parliament Gular Ahmadova gave testimony at the prosecutor’s office again, law-enforcement bodies told APA. Gular Ahmadova reportedly gave testimony at Baku prosecutor’s office regarding the criminal case launched on vide released by former rector of ABU Elshad Abdullayev.
Gular Ahmadova confirmed it to APA. She said the aim was to assist in the investigation.
“I will assist in the investigation till the end. Therefore, I refused the mandate. In my application I promised to assist in the investigation and tell whatever I know,” she said.
Gular Ahmadova said some media outlets carried out campaign against her.
“Some media outlets write articles against me. All these are lies. I will never flee.Some forces want to put pressure on the investigation, damage my 16-year socio-political activity,” she said.
