Press Service of the Ministry of Justice told APA that Justice Minister Fikrat Mammadov also attended the event. Shaki Court Complex, which will be constructed, is the first court complex consisting of the courts of regional appeal, grave crimes, administrative-economic and regional courts.
The complex will cover 11 districts of the region. Fikrat Mammadov spoke about judicial and legal reforms and emphasized that the establishment of modern court infrastructure is a part of these reforms and also underlined that the achievements are praised by the international community. He also noted that opening of new courts serves to more reliable provision of citizens’ rights.
On that day the minister received citizens in the Shaki regional justice department and gave necessary instructions regarding the issues raised.
Modern Shaki penitentiary complex, the construction of which is about to be completed, was visited, proper instructions were given.
