Azerbaijan's deputy killed in a traffic accident - EXCLUSIUVE

According to APA, the accident occured in Balakan-Georgian border. The car "VAZ-2106", managed by the deputy of Milli Majlis Hikmet Atayev, collided with "VAZ-21015". As a result of an accident, H.Ataev died from his injuries at the scene.

Balakan district police told APA that Hikmet Ataev traveled from Georgia and his son was witth him in the car. The son of the deputy was not seriously injured in the accident.

Note that Hikmet Atayev was born in 1953 in Zagatala. He graduated Azerbaijan State Medical University, the faculty of treatment and prevention. From 1977, he worked as a surgeon at the General Hospital of Zagatala, and from 2002 he was the head of the surgical department of the hospital. In the 2005-2006-ies. was chairman of the City of Zagatala. May 13, 2006 he was elected deputy from Zagatala constituency number 13. Was a member of the working group on inter-parliamentary relations of Azerbaijan-Germany, Azerbaijan, Britain, Finland, Azerbaijan, Azerbaijan-Ukraine.
