Humbatov said that the administration was informed about all the facts, they were investigated. All of them were based on the legislation.
Humbatov said that in 2012, teargas was used against accused persons three times: “Two of these incidents were recorded in court and one in the train. While the train carrying 8 accused persons was coming from Kurdamir, a relative of one of them wanted to give food. But the guards did not take it, as they have no right to do so. The detainees showed resistance. Therefore, teargas was used against them. The Inspectorate on supervision of execution of punishments has carried out investigations.
Humbatov also underlined that there is no mistreatment of prisoners and detainees now.
