Baku. Ramil Mammadli – APA. “The European Court will publicize this year’s statistics in mid-January. Azerbaijan has no information about the number of the complaints this year,” Azerbaijan’s representative at the European Court of Human Rights Chingiz Asgarov said, APA reports.
“But we have received information about 15 complaints from Azerbaijan this year. They are pending,” said Chingiz Asgarov.
He mentioned that last year the European Court passed nine judgments on Azerbaijan, they were connected with the violation of human rights.
Asked about the execution of the judgments, Chingiz Asgarov said: “The judgments are executed through both general and individual measures. We have never had a problem regarding the execution of individual measures. The state has paid the compensation in time, the relevant cases have been sent to courts, or prosecuting authorities. They are taking individual measures to restore of the violated rights,” he said.
