The oldest woman of the world Derbend resident Serhad Reshidova died at age of 131, APA reports quoting Ria-Dagestan agency.
She died at his 60-aged son’s house. She has never complained of health. Her age is confirmed by the identity card issued three years ago by Derbend interior affairs office. The card only notes the date of birth-year 1875. Derbend Administration chief Gurban Gurbanov visited the woman on January 12. He said that he will try to include Serhad’s name in Guinness Book of Records as the oldest woman in the world. But the Derbend leadership couldn’t do it. Serhad Reshidova has lived 50 years alone after the death of her second husband. The only stepson and grandchildren often visited her.
Puerto-Rico resident Emiliano Merkado Del Torro is the oldest woman of the world with the age 115 by the Guinness Book of Records. The previous record belongs to US resident Elisabeth Bolden, 116, died on December 11, 2006. /APA/
