Special delegation of European Commission arrives in Georgia

Special commission of the European Commission is on visit to Georgia, APA Georgian bureau reports. The delegation includes Director for Eastern Europe, South Caucasus and Central Asia at the European Commissionâ€™s External Relations Directorate-General Hugues Mingarelli and EU Special Representative for South Caucasus Peter Semneby. The delegation today met with Deputy Foreign Minister of Georgia Georgy Manchgaladze. The measures taken in the conflicting zones of Georgia, the action plan signed within European New Neighborhood Policy, restoration of confidence in conflicting zones, the EUâ€™s participation in the peaceful settlement of conflicts and the issues on border control were discussed at the meeting. /APA/
