Azerbaijan and Saudi Arabia signed memorandum on cooperation in science and education

Minister of Education of Saudi Arabia Khalid Mohammed El-Enqari met with minister of education Misir Merdanov, APA reports.
Misir Merdanov stated the perspectives of bilateral cooperation during the meeting. Azerbaijan had economical, cultural and scientific relations with Saudi Arabia. This cooperation has improved after the independence of Azerbaijan. Mentioning the reforms in education, Misir Merdanov said that all the measures will be taken to develop the relations between famous universities of Saudi Arabia and Azerbaijani universities. Khalid Mohammed El-Enqari stated that he hopes for the rapid development of the relations. He noted the necessity to establish relations in scientific research field as well. He invited Misir Merdanov for an official visit to Saudi Arabia. Then the ministers signed a memorandum on cooperation in science and education. /APA/
