Azerbaijanâ€™s Court of Grave Crimes will hold preliminary trial of 4 officers of Mingachevir Police Office accused of killing Karabakh war participant Rasim Alishov. Nushabe Agayeva will preside at the trial, the court told the APA.
Investigation was carried out in Mingachevir Police Office by Interior Ministerâ€™s order, after Rasim Alishov was beaten in the police office on July 25. After the investigation the chief of the criminal investigation department Ilgar Abbasov and the inspector of the police office Elchin Musayev were dismissed and three policemen were given reprimands.
Ilgar Abbasov, Ramiz Murguzov and Anar Hasanov are accused on article 309 of the Criminal Code (abuse of power). /APA/
